Name of our company has two stories that reflect our nature. It is combination of two words in Serbian language IT (as information technology) & kako (how) which reflects thru curiosity in everything we do. It also means double confirmation that reflects our delivery culture.


Job description
Golang Developer
As a Golang Developer, you will be the second representative from our team joining the client’s development team, where you’ll collaborate on building a new large-scale platform developed in Go and MS SQL Server. You’ll work closely with the client’s engineers ensuring smooth collaboration, technical quality, and efficient delivery. Your expertise in Go, backend system design, and scalable architecture will be key to shaping the platform’s foundations and ensuring its long-term stability and performance. You’ll participate in all phases of the development lifecycle - from design and implementation to testing and optimization, while contributing ideas, driving improvements, and fostering best practices within the team.
- Design, develop, and maintain key components of the client’s platform
- Collaborate closely with the client’s development team to ensure technical alignment and seamless delivery
- Participate in architectural discussions, providing input on scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Review and refactor existing systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement
- Gather and clarify requirements with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure well-defined deliverables
- Test, debug, and resolve issues to maintain system reliability and performance
- Create and maintain technical documentation and ensure clear communication of changes
- Contribute to code quality by following and promoting industry best practices and coding standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years of experience in backend development using Golang
- Experience with Goroutine and channel patterns
- Familiarity with Go frameworks and tools, including:
- Dependency management tools (e.g., Godep, Sltr)
- Go’s templating language and code generation tools (e.g., Stringer)
- Web frameworks such as Revel and router packages like Gorilla Mux
- Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code with effective Godoc comments
- Experience developing web services, APIs, and microservices
- Familiarity with multi-tier, object-oriented, and secure application architectures
- Hands-on experience with databases (MS SQL Server preferred) and cloud environments (Azure or AWS is a plus)
- Experience using version control systems (Git, SVN) and issue tracking tools (Jira)
- Exposure to e-commerce or payments platforms (Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.) is a plus
- Knowledge of CRM customization and webhook integrations (e.g., Freshsales, Zoho) is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
- Full working proficiency in English
